
Eames DAR chair
Eames DAR Chairs were first presented as part of a New York Museum of Modern Art competition, "Low Cost Furniture Design". Their organically shaped seat shells were later combined with various different bases and manufactured in their millions. In their latest version made of fiberglass, the armchairs now offer even greater sitting comfort.

The DAR (1948)chair, the Armchair Chair with the four Rod metal legged base.The design of this Eames DAR Chair was first presented in 1948 at the Museum of Modern Art's competition 'Low cost furniture design' in New York. It was the first mass-produced chair made of fibreglass reinforced plastic.
